Threads of Genius, Woven as One
Programme Overview
The Yinghua Fellowship is a youth exchange programme initiated by the Guoqiang Foundation. It aims to build an authentic, in-depth and enduring platform for youth dialogue — convening leading universities, academic institutions and social resources from China and across the globe. Via shared learning, cross-cultural collaboration and joint project creation, it advances mutual understanding and cultivates lasting networks centred on issues of common concern.

Threads of Genius, Woven as One
In the summer of 2026, 51 Chinese and British youth delegates journeyed from the Greater Bay Area through Hangzhou and Shanghai to Beijing. Over three weeks across five cities, they visited universities, enterprises, laboratories, historic districts and cultural sites — observing, in cross-cultural teams, how technological innovation, urban governance and cultural heritage thrive together in China.

Future City Impression
One question, seven answers.
The "Future City Impression" project assembled 51 delegates into seven cross-cultural teams to explore a shared question: What defines a city of the future? Examining technology, urban life, cultural heritage and sustainable development, teams presented their insights and youth-led proposals at the final showcase.
